I have been fishing most of my life. I started out trout fishing small lakes and streams in Tennessee and Virginia as a young child. I really began to take an interest in bass fishing when I was stationed in Dover, DE. I began fishing the tidal water of the Eastern Shore in 1990. I joined a small bass club named Three Ponds Bassmasters in 1993. I gained a tremendous amount of knowledge from the membership. I feel my strongest asset is self-instruction and spending quality time on the water. I have been fishing competitively since 1996 first as a member of the Delaware Bass Federation. I qualified for the Delaware state classic 3 years in a row, had 10 top 15 finishes in the State Buddy Trail, several 1st place finishes at club level and qualified 7 years in a row for the Annual Worldwide Armed Forces Bass Tournament. Now that I am stationed in Tennessee I fish the ABA (American Bass Anglers) trails in District 31, 103. I really look forward to competing at this level.
Future Goals: To continue to fish at local and state level and gain knowledge and tournament experience until I retire from the Air Force. I hope to one day own a guide service, compete in professional events and someday fish the Bass Masters Classic.
Mecklenburg County was the site for THREE PROS ON THE GO. Buggs Island played host to three fishing pros, each unique in his own tournament trail. The three pros were fishing and filming a pilot for a new fishing show, made for TV. A totally new format fishing show with new ideas, and new faces.
